With three generations of family working together; Trenance Farm is the perfect get-away for a secluded holiday.

History of Trenance Farm

Cornwall has welcomed visitors for a very long time – we are carrying on that tradition.

We returned from Malaysia with our children to take over the family self-catering business first in Polurrian and Fowey,
before setting up in Mullion on the Lizard Peninsula in the 1980s. With sheer hard work, dedication and three generations working together, we have transformed Trenance Farm from derelict barns to superb self-catering cottages as well as turning our 13 acres into a wonderful display of mature gardens and lots of space – ideal for families and dog lovers; or just for someone who wants to get away from the busy day-to-day life.

We love the Lizard Peninsula, with its relaxing pace - even in the height of the season you can be a million miles from the hustle and bustle of life. So whether you are looking for a family holiday, a walking holiday, or somewhere to simply relax, let us do what we do best. Let us provide you with great service, great value for money and a memorable holiday experience. Stay here once and when you return, as so many of our guests do, you will receive a free bottle of wine on arrival.

The old farm outbuildings have been converted into comfortable holiday cottages situated around the old farmyard and granite Cornish farmhouse. The cottages retain the original Cornish granite facing stones and thick stone walls.

The Top Field At Trenance Farm Holds A UK Record

The Top Field at Trenance Farm is in the Guinness Book of Records for holding the UK record for the tallest kale crop, measured at 12ft tall. The crop was grown by B T Newton in 1950 whilst he was farming at Trenance Farm.

Jenifer manages the gardening, making sure all the succulents and flowers are blooming well. On arrival, you'll find a vase filled with Jenifer's beautiful seasonal flowers grown in her garden.

As office manager, Tamara is always on the ball dealing with any inquiries; whether it's little or big. Here to make your stay as pleasurable as it can be.

Housekeeping Manager

Caja manages the housekeeping side of Trenance, making sure all the cottages are spick and span ready for your arrival. She also assists in the office, comfirming the bookings and running the website.
